If you're set in becoming a WAR character enemy, you won't have to look far to choosing the dark side. However, you may just have to wait a little bit longer if you're to become part of the Army of Destruction in WAR: Age of Reckoning simply because the Beta stage of the game is not over yet. However, as more players are seeing how the game unfolds and more invitations are being opened up for the Beta of WAR review, the Armies of Destruction will naturally become a popular side to choose. Some people have already decided that they are going to join the Army of Destruction when the game officially releases in 2008 simply because they've read about the benefits to becoming part of the Army of Destruction and know everything that can possibly be done with the characters. However, WAR: Age of Reckoning will not be copying off of the same game plays that the Warhammer Fantasy Battles or the Role-play used. Instead, there will be a whole new set of rule engagements and encounters that players of WAR will be able to use. Some will be to their advantage while others will not.

When a player decides to join the Army of Destruction side for evil, that player can then select one of several character choices and careers so that he or she will be able to customize the character even further. For the Army of Destruction in the Age of Reckoning game, or simply WAR for short, there are three simple sections in the Destruction Army that a player can choose from. The player is able to choose from being a member of Chaos, the Dark Elves, or the Greenskins. There are major advantages and drawbacks to being each one, but whatever character is chosen largely reflects the role that the player will have while playing this role-playing game.

Chaos in the Army of Destruction

The first major category of evil characters on the side of the Army of Destruction is called Chaos. Chaos is basically a group of barbaric humans who try to please the Gods of Chaos. Every time the Chaos characters do something in battle that pleases the gods then they are rewarded. Those rewards come in the form of greater character strength or even more weapons.

Dark Elves

The Dark Elves that are part of the Army of Destruction are some of the major players that are part of the game. Apart from the good elves which are known as the High Elves, the Dark Elves are quite different. For one thing, they are equal to the High Elves when it comes to battling matches; but also, Dark Elves are very important when it comes to ransacking the capital city and finding loot.

Greenskins

These races of characters in WAR are a whole other breed of characters themselves. Greenskins live for nothing else besides fighting and violence. If there are no enemies to attack and kill then they are very quick to be able to kill each other. That's one disadvantage that the Greenskins have that is actually an advantage to their opponents. But the Greenskins are very important when engaging in battle because of their potential of high destruction.

The Army of Destruction already has many players that want to join it even though the WAR role-playing game is not officially released yet. But rest assured that there will be plenty Destruction soldier characters to choose from when the game finally does debut.
